Per Resolution 10 Series 2020, the Town of Mancos has implemented outdoor watering restrictions to reduce water usage in the area and avoid water shortages due to drought conditions. Current watering restrictions prohibit outdoor water usage between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day.
Anyone violating these restrictions will be given a warning upon observation of the first offense. Subsequent observed offenses will result in the issuance of a citation.
Persons needing relief from these measures may submit a written request to the Town Administrator demonstrating significant hardship or special need, such as newly seeded lawns.
