The Town of Mancos Regular Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. The Election will be conducted via Mail Ballot. There are one (1) Mayor and five (5) Trustee positions which will be on the ballot. Nomination petitions for the office of Mayor or Trustee will be available for circulation beginning on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 8:00 am. Nomination petitions must be filed with the Town Clerk’s Office no later than Monday, January 25, 2016 at 4:30 pm. Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years of age on Election Day; must be a registered elector and must have resided within the incorporated limits of the Town of Mancos for twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
