Exciting news! The Veterans Memorial in the Mancos Cemetery was selected as one of the sites in Colorado for this year’s Tour of Honor. Motorcyclists from across the United States and Canada will visit the site between the months of April and October. The riders are recognized by the yellow Tour of Honor flag they carry. The riders typically arrive singly or in small groups. Proceeds from the ride benefit three Veteran and First Responder Charities. See the website for more details: http://www.tourofhonor.com. The Tour of Honor is the vision of brothers Steve and Dave Brooks who created the ride in 2011. The Tour of Honor has grown from eight states in 2011 to all fifty states.
