Since late 2016, the Town has been discussing changes to the street signs, including stop signs and instituting a Town wide speed limit. An engineer conducted a Town wide traffic study which was completed in April 2017. The changes were approved by the Board in May, and Staff has finalized the first phase which included removing/installing street signs based on the engineer’s recommendation. No Parking signs have also been installed along both sides of Park Street. In 2018, phase 2 will be implemented which will include a Town wide speed limit of 20 mph on all roads under the Town’s jurisdiction.
