Red Flag Warning = Fire Ban in Mancos

A reminder to Mancos residents: When there is a red flag warning in effect, the Town has a fire ban in effect. Mancos Municipal Code 7-9-50 (c) states that if a Red Flag Warning is issued, or if a Montezuma County fire ban is instituted, the Town’s burn ban is also in effect. This means no open fires, no burning of trash and leaves, and no use of fireworks. Thanks for helping to keep our town safe during this very dry season.
