Two men in the Valley Inn’s Alzheimer’s unit got into a fight.  Neither men were injured.

On 07/21/2019 at 1708 hours, Mancos 2 responded to the P&D Grocery store for a minor traffic accident in the parking lot.

 

Mancos 2 took a report and issued a citation for careless driving.

 

19-0100

 

On July 23, 2019, at approximately 2132 hours, Mancos 4 was dispatched to a vehicle crash near the intersection of Monte Street and Hwy 160, within the Town of Mancos, County of Montezuma, State of Colorado.

 

The driver of Vehicle 1 was cited for careless driving and the vehicle was towed due to damage.

On July 25, 2019, at approximately 0112 Hours, Cortez Dispatch contacted Mancos 1 by telephone stating there was a vehicle accident in the 400 Block of Grand, in the Town of Mancos, County of Montezuma, and the State of Colorado.

 

The driver of Vehicle 1 was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and left in the custody of the Montezuma County Jail Staff.

On 07/25/2019, Mancos 2 received a report of a damaged mailbox in the 400 block of Riverside Ave. Town of Mancos, County of Montezuma and State of Colorado.

 

Mancos 2 arrived on scene and took a report.

 

19-0104

 

On July 24, 2019, at approximately 2140 Hours, Cortez Dispatch advised Mancos 1 to respond to

305 S. Main St, in the Town of Mancos, County of Montezuma, and the State of Colorado for a possible just occurred burglary.

 

Mancos 1 investigated the scene and found a vehicle had been entered and miscellaneous property taken from inside.

On 07/27/2019 at around 1600 hours, Mancos 2 was on foot patrol in Boyle Park and was contacted by a male who had found $19 cash.

 

Mancos 2 took possession of the money and placed it into evidence at the Marshal’s Office for safekeeping.

 

19-0106

 

On July 27, 2019, at approximately 1839 Hours, I was working in the Mancos Marshal’s office when a female called by telephone stating her boyfriend took her phone and thrown it towards the river. I responded to Mountain View Trailer Park located at 40892 Highway 160, in the Town of Mancos, County of Montezuma, and the State of Colorado.

 

After speaking to the female victim, Mancos 1 was able to locate the missing phone. A short time later Mancos 1 located the male suspect and placed him into custody for Obstructing a Telephone Service and Domestic Violence. The suspect was left in the care and custody of the Montezuma County Jail Staff.
