On 07/11/2019 Mancos 2 was advised by Cortez Dispatch of a possible unattended death in the 600 block of W. Menefee St. Town of Mancos, County of Montezuma and the State of Colorado.
Mancos 2 arrived on the scene with medics and discovered a deceased female. Mancos 2 notified the coroner and took a report.
Nothing further to report.
Other Activities
The Marshal’s office has received several speeding complaints on Grand with the construction on Highway 160. We have been conducting speed enforcement on Grand.
The Marshal’s Office received a complaint that the Mancos River has a dangerous bank in Cottonwood Park due to the high level of water during the runoff. The area was taped off and the Marshal’s Office and Public Works department will address the river bank issue.
