The Town of Mancos has 1000 sandbags available at the Public Works Shop. These sandbags are available if there is flooding from the Mancos River. Any resident needing to get sandbags can call the Mancos Town Hall at 970-533-7725 during business hours or the Mancos Marshal’s Office after hours at 533-1432 (or contact Cortez Dispatch at 970-565-8441 to speak to an on-duty Deputy) and a member of the Town Staff will assist you in getting the bags. These bags are not filled however the residents can fill them at the Public Works Shop. Bags will be given out on a case by case basis so all residents have access to sandbags.
