On February 26, 2020, at 0031 Hours, Cortez Dispatch advised Marshal Goodall to respond to the area of the 400 Block of Bauer Ave. for a verbal disturbance. After some time Marshal Goodall located a male sitting in a vehicle. The male was identified as a victim of Domestic Violence and had been bitten on the right arm by his female girlfriend. The female was arrested and transported to the Montezuma County Jail for Harassment and Domestic Violence.

Friday, February 26, 2020 10:00 a.m. Deputy Marshal Topaha took a report on a stolen mountain bike at the 100 block of Spruce St. in Mancos. The owner noticed the bike was missing on February 14, 2020, at 12:00 p.m.

On February 28, 2020, at approximately 1714 hours, Deputy Farnsworth observed a male driving his truck while his license is suspended at the intersection of Menefee St and Erview St, Town of Mancos, State of Colorado.

The driver was also found to have no insurance and fictitious plates. The driver was cited and the vehicle towed.

On February 29, 2020, at approximately 2145 hours, Deputy Farnsworth observed a vehicle driving east on Hwy 160 with a broken taillight, the vehicle attempted to turn off onto an unnumbered private road, Deputy Farnsworth contacted the vehicle about 100 yards from the highway on the unnumbered private road, County of Montezuma, State of Colorado.

Upon contact, the driver opened the trunk and attempted to exit the vehicle. The trunk turned out to contain a loaded firearm and the driver was a felon. The driver was arrested for a weapons possession charge.

On March 1, 2020, at approximately 0845 Hours, Sgt. Ray observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 41000 block of Hwy 160, within the Town of Mancos, State of Colorado, with multiple items blocking the front windshield. Sgt. Ray conducted a traffic stop for obstructed view. A female passenger was found to have an active warrant for failure to comply. She was arrested and transported to the Montezuma County Jail. The male driver was given a verbal warning for the obstructed view.

On March 1, 2020, at approximately 1515 Hours, Sgt. Ray and Deputy Marshal Farnsworth began looking for a female with seven warrants. The female was located in the 44,000 block of Highway 160. The female was arrested on four warrants out of La Plata County, one out of Durango PD, 1 out of Archuleta County, and 1 out of Colorado State Patrol. The female was transported to the Montezuma County Jail without incident.

On March 2, 2020, at approximately 0930 Hours, Deputy Morris received a call of several areas being vandalized around the Town of Mancos. This case is ongoing.
