On 07-17-2020 at approximately 1208 hours, Sgt. Ray was dispatched to Menefee Apartments for a reported theft of a table. Upon Sgt. Ray’s arrival, he met with the owner, who stated her table was taken sometime throughout the night. A search was conducted but the table nor suspect was located. Nothing Further

On July 17, 2020, Deputy Topaha responded to the P&D Grocery Store regarding an individual attempting to make purchases with a counterfeit bill. The suspect was identified and issued a felony summons for Criminal Possession of Forged Instrument.

On July 18-2020 at approximately 0918 hours while completing a call for a family disturbance, Sgt. Ray heard some yelling near Second Street and South Mesa Avenue. Sgt. Ray contacted all subjects and had a report of possible felony menacing. After the investigation was completed, no charges were sought.

On July 22, 2020 at approximately 1832 hours Deputy Marshal Farnsworth stopped a vehicle for failure to stop at the stop sign at Main and Grand Ave, Town of Mancos, County of Montezuma, State of Colorado.

The driver was issued a citation for an open container of alcohol. The driver was found to not be impaired.

Cleared with Penalty Assessment.

On July 25, 2020, at approximately 2037 hours, Deputy Topaha completed a welfare check on a male subject at the Cox Conoco. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Montezuma County Jail where he was booked in for violation of protection order.
