Fireban in effect in Mancos

Montezuma County has issued a fireban which also means there is a fireban in Mancos. Mancos Municipal Code 7-9-50 (c) states that if a Red Flag Warning is issued, or if a Montezuma County fire ban is instituted, the Town’s burn ban is also in effect. This means no open fires, no burning of trash and leaves, and no use of fireworks. Thanks for helping to keep our town safe during this very dry season.
