This was a planned project to install a new pressure reducing valve. to serve the entire Town of Mancos. The Town contacted CDPHE on July 5, 2017 about the likelihood of this project triggering a boil order since the pressure to the Town would be reduced.
The project began at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 and was completed as planned and on schedule. Bac-t samples were collected this day (Monday, July 10, 2017) and delivered to San Juan Basin Laboratory that same afternoon.
Results were received back on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 indicating the Town is able to lift the boil order.
